so it doesn't use much bandwidth, but every instance of it on your screen uses local computer resources.

So in summary, you only download it once, but the more on your screen, the slower it will get.

If it's slower when there are mulitple instances onscreen, it's because of one or more factors on your computer (eg. browser type, graphics card, processor, etc)
