Weirdly the shorter version works better. It's more noticeable that the DJ from behind is not Lee.
Obviously both are insanely good, just talking relative, ya know.

its easier for me to edit a cruddy gif than a video file
I don't have magic video editing software that would allow painting on individual frames :(

I don't even know what does!
Back in the day Animation Studio did everything, but I guess it didn't sell well and Autodesk pulled the plug :(

Seriously though, how do you do it?

that was grabbing clips off enter the dragon
then splicing it with generic rave clips and putting colour overlays on in Premiere.
Nothing fancy really. The gif version then had the luxury of drawing in some black areas to make it look more like him.
If anyone can suggest an animation package that loads avi files to draw straight on to that won't bankrupt me I'd be very interested.

You mean you don't copy and paste onto every frame?

How strange. I would have thought there was a market for such software.
Perhaps someone could make it for you?

Animation Studio was a dream to use
It possibly was spawned by DPaint's DAnimate, first as Animator Pro in DOS and then the Windows 95 Studio version
