# Sorry to TJ - can anyone help me build a website?
Never done one before - I've done blogspot and such, but I want to get a domain and build a website
(as cheaply as possible) for a campaign to save a local Film Theatre. A handful of pages, some links,
preferrably no ads...

Any suggestions where best to start? Edit: Thanks guys

# If you don't know anything about web design something like Joomla might be a good place to start
Hosting you can get quite cheaply, I think it's £11 a year from one.com including the domain, 3000mb of space and unlimited bandwidth (if you want a .co.uk address). Not an amazing service but ok for a small site.

# hrr
one of my websites currently costs me about $35 a year - domain reg with 1&1 and hosting with www.averdata.net - only 50mb space but (apparently) unlimited bandwidth

# Their free hosting is shaft
they give you 2.5gb of space but only 100mb/month of bandwidth :S
