# I read a piece by an Australian bloke who was going round the world eating stuff (as you do)
He said Vegemite in the UK isn't as nice as the stuff in Oz and he thought Marmite was better. Vegemite does taste like shit compared to Marmite over here. I'm sorry, but it's true.

None of them are as nice as Bovril anyway.

sometimes it has a crust on it when you open the jar. Unless they've made significant improvements on it since I last tried it in 1992. It was always the stuff you got when the Marmite ran out, usually with a resigned shrug/shudder.
