# I had no idea about the recent goings-on at MTV
I am therefore not hip (is that the word?) with the kids

of course back in my day it was all Music Box with Gaz Top and Amanda Redington and Simon Potter and Martin Buchanan and that other guy. Oh and Pat Sharp was on the Sky programme

Of course back then music was all played on a cine film and it was silent. A man with a piano had to try and play along to the hits of the day
