# Fancy a couple of free audio book thingies that I've made for Halloween?
I've written a couple of short stories and rrecorded them as audio books. They're free to download, but you do have to register in my shop to get them (though you can type in any old nonsense into the form if you want).

A Kiss on the Palm

A man wakes at the wheel of his car, driving at 90 miles per hour down the
motorway at night. He only has one clue to the events of the evening, and from
that, the horrifying memories begin to return.

Approx 6 minutes.

Salvatore’s Birthday

Salvatore turns sixteen and is excited to finally meet the woman who has talked
to him all of his life, but why has she spent so long waiting for him?

Approx 5 minutes.

# Spooky more than scary, I'd say.
There are a couple of paid-for downloads in my shop, one of which is a bit more of a scary story ('Status Update') and the other one is just a bit silly ('Fresh Salmon for McTavish').

EDIT: and happy candle day too :)

# Thanks Matazone
very nice of you to make these available - I will enjoy them I'm sure.

# No problem
and any feedback is appreciated. I've only done four so far and I think my reading could do with a bit of work, but it's a learning curve and I've got some ideas how to improve next time.

Thanks!

... And this is not the first time that I have been complimented by a lady on my oral skills.

# Cheers.
I'm hoping to become a full-time writer/novelist eventually, but it's very hard getting an agent for my novel, so I thought it might make my life easier if I could say 'I've had 2000 people download my stories'. Admittedly it's only been a few dozen so far, but I have only just put them online!

# I'll download them
but it's probably going to be two weeks before I get to listen to them.
