# Apparently
Frankie Boyle hosted Nevermind the Buzzcocks last week and Carol was on it, he described her as 'brainier than Kurt Cobain's garage wall'

# lmao nice
that doesn't mean she likes anal

# It doesn't mean she doesn't, either.

# he stole the show last night at the Comedy awards with a couple of near the knuckle gags
/and for once, the show seemed to give all the awards to the right people/shows

# I flicked over at one point and McIntyre was on :(
Who were the deserving winners do you think?
(, Sun 13 Dec 2009, 12:33, archived)
# I went to see Stewart Lee last week,
he compared Mcintyres comedy to being spoon-fed diarrhea. About right if you ask me.

# In The Loop, TV Burp, Graham Linehan and Psychoville
there was also a certain air of hostility towards McIntyre throughout the show,
picked up on by Armando Iannucci in his speech after winning for 'In The Loop'
(, Sun 13 Dec 2009, 12:40, archived)
# I haven't watched Psychoville or Outnumbered
The other three are top notch. I can honestly say TV Burp is one of the funniest things on at the moment. Perfect vehicle for Harry.

What did say Armando Iannucci in his speech did you hear?

# ah yes, Outnumbnered as well
that was deserved, it's a very well written show. Will try and dig up the thing he said about McIntyre.

# Cheers, i've been looking for it as well. Probably too soon for the quips to be on youtube it seems.

# I bought Psychoville on blu-ray
Some of the extras are amazing, especially the "how they did it" explanation of the episode based on Hitchcock's "Rope". But the difference between seeing the series on normal TV and seeing it on blu-ray is tremendous; the detail makes it even more chilling.

# i watched it on iPlayer
the last episode almost starved me of oxygen during the citizens advice scene.. I had to pause it to give me chance to recompose :)

# he has got incredibly popular recently
ostensibly for having wobbly hair.

I haven't liked his comedy for a while and his predominance in media is now breeding more contempt in me.

# Miranda Hart is also suffering from this over exposure
It's the BBC 'Flogging it til it bleeds policy'

/The over exposure of Tennant on most prime time BBC shows (including the new Christmas Idents) leading up to his departure on Doctor Who is also rather annoying.

# another comedian I've not really liked.
it leads people who know me to the conclusion that I don't like them because they are popular.. their popularity very much is an after thought.. accept it makes them consistantly more visable.

absolutely spot on.
