Today is the 37th anniversary of the pilot episode of Last of the Summer Wine. Hurrah!

Dialogue gags and intelligent comedy.
I actually have the paperback version of the 1st series which is genuinely "LOL"
The subsequent series went downhill faster than an old bloke in a bathtub.
