it took me over 2 hours to make it? With practice hopefully I'll get faster. But using GraphicConverter to separate the layers out of a gif is amazing :D
lots of grumbles about Adobe CS3 being industry standard yet doesn't support much in the way of animated giffery

want you to buy their full suite of software and use fireworks for your animated gif needs.

I see now. That's another gripe of mine. I only have CS3 Design Standard and want to upgrade to get Dreamweaver. Even with a 10% discount voucher they recently sent me upgrading still costs almost the same price as the original software. Colour me stupid but I had no idea Fireworks was used for giffery. (I had no idea what Fireworks was used for at all if truth be told).

Actually if it's freestanding that's no use to me anyway :( I need to upgrade to Design Premium which contains Flash and Dreamweaver as well.

I love WC Fields. One of the funniest exchanges ever filmed is Fields as a barman arguing with a colleague about which one of them had punched, on a previous occasion, the small lady they'd just bounced from the bar. Fields eventually concedes his mate had punched her... "but it was me who kicked her when she was down...".
Top spang too.

Top spang too.

There isn't enough old comedy on TV these days what with daytime TV being full of crapola makeover shows or bunches of women yammering on about nothing. How many kids are going to grow up without having seen Buster Keaton for instance?

but somehow Dad having all those greats on DVD isn't the same as coming across them yourself on Saturday morning or during the xmas holidays I think.
Also, all those great cartoons that aren't on any more. What a terrible waste.

I was looking for Star Trek gifs to play with but didn't find anything nearly half-decent.
