the at home bit was planned, the 'no drugs' bit was the ideal, but we had them on standby, however the midwife who was authorised to give them was stuck in traffic. (another midwife was there on time - just!)

We have written on the birth plan... Something to the effect of..

"If you need any archaeology doing while we are here, we will be happy to help. Otherwise we are glad to be under your care and are happy to go with whatever you think is best for us (as we are not medical professionals and are not going to start trying to be now!)"
