A rare moment in TV history.
Quality was allowed to be shown.
They've not let such a thing happen
ever again as far as I've seen.

I've only caught a couple bits so far.
Production was good, but lacked any drama.
I think they misunderstood the point of it all.

Daily Mail readers seem to hate it

so it might be OK after all!

Haha! Well, there is that.
It is a hard one to get across to many people. They've
spent all their lives trusting authority. The idea that
it actively lies to manipulate them is un-possible. And
the fact that not playing along with it is high treason can
seriously fuck their heads over. We pay them (via taxes,
votes, or participation) they just couldn't be using us.

totally awful!
I couldn't watch it past the first episode. (And I am old enough to have watched the original series when it was shown on US TV in the 1960s - and I did.)
the Wiki comments are interesting.

Here's the walking tuba, now where are my damn polychromatic bats?
From what I saw of it my guess is they only really liked the last
two episodes of the original. And a few short bits from the others.
And then built the whole thing off that limited view. Sad and dry.
