Performance and features generally increase with the size of the i identifier number.
In other words, Core i7 processors are typically faster than Core i5 chips.

That was pretty much all I'd manage to find out...higher number, higher price, faster.

I just need to decide if the increase is speed is worth the extra ton, because frankly anything is faster than what I'm using now
