TJ: Anyone know anything about this new range of Intel processors, i3,i5, i7?
I'm after a new PC and have seen a bargain one with an i5. Should I get it, or hold out til payday and get one with an i7. All the other specs are the same, but it's about £100 more

Core i7.
Performance and features generally increase with the size of the i identifier number.
In other words, Core i7 processors are typically faster than Core i5 chips.

That was pretty much all I'd manage to find out...higher number, higher price, faster.
I just need to decide if the increase is speed is worth the extra ton, because frankly anything is faster than what I'm using now
