but i'd do it in premiere. you can have an under-the-table copy if you want (not that it's got anything to do with me). mail me off the board if you like.

# QuickTime Player and ImageReady
The Pro version of Quicktime (or MoviePlayer 3.1) can export a .mov as a bunch of numbered frames.

Imageready can import a folder of frames as an animation. Cut, paste, export gif animation.

However, the animated gif was huge, so I opened it in QT Player again and exported it as a Sorenson .mov file with tons of compression to get a 34K file.

(I've got quite limited download bandwidth from my ISP so I have to be careful, esp with you folks :)

# Premiere
I am rather new to the Movie stuff. I got a copy of premiere given to me but havent installed it yet. Is this the program that enables you to creat mov. and mpg files for viewing. Sorry I know you're not Adobe but you guys are obviously more experienced in this field than I.
(, Wed 17 Oct 2001, 3:35, archived)
# Yup
Premiere is a digital video editing package- I honestly couldn't tell you if there's anything better as it's the only one I've used, but it seems to be pretty much the standard for desktop use. Timeline format should be fairly familiar to most people, easy to use, works ok, takes forever to process. Is that any help?
(, Wed 17 Oct 2001, 5:09, archived)
# Yeah great
thats cool as milk ta. ONe thing tho, is the main movie part of it required for you to download images from camera into PC? Sorry I should just go and have a look but I got some movie clips I want to convert to mov and wondered if Premiere was specifically for this stuff or if it was for animation.

# Pink Waffers
Not good, biscuit crime. I saw some the other day in a clearence shop, they were probably left over from some cold war biscuit stock pile. Just because pink waffers are technically possible doesn't make them ethical. Waffers must be covered in chocolate to be palatable, as in KitKat or Tunnocks. You may still find some in a variety pack, if so report them to the correct authorities who will dispose them safely
