Details TBC but will probably involve large amounts of booze.
Anybody got any ideas of a decent place to go for a bashette?
The Holyrood
Lanky Goes to Edinburgh!
Going: Lanky, Jadeviper, Dekazer, spacefish, Newington, Dugs (6 people).
how about Drouthy's? It is newly (well, several months ago) renovated with tasty strawberry-flavoured beer and absolutely the coolest hand dryers in the universe. Really.

They have nice beer.
I'll miss the hand dryers though.

Unless somebody can suggest another place?
And how would somebody find this venue then?

and refusing to acknowledge that "Waverley Station" exists, but assuming that's where you're coming from, come out onto Princes Street and then:
maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=Princes+Street,+City+of+Edinburgh,+EH1&daddr=Holyrood+Road,+City+of+Edinburgh,+EH1+%4055.949255,-3.182827&sll=55.934125,-3.29208&sspn=0.117694,0.314484&om=0
Note that the start tag still isn't in quite the right place, so you may have to use your mind...
The Holyrood - assuming this is the same place JV means! - is on Holyrood Road, which is just east of the Cowgate, which everyone knows where it is.
