This day, November 25th, Buy Nothing Day....

....Is the most pointless idea I have ever heard. We all need shelter (mortgage), food and warmth (heating, water, electricity)to live, so we can't have a proper Buy Nothing Day (unless you're a student skilled in scroungation/criminal)

Oh crap

Being of the sort to actually do this sort of thing, I am somewhat ashamed to say that I'll be going to the Good Food Show in Birmingham on that date. Still, at least I can take comfort in that I blagged four free tickets. Oh, and in all the free booze.
