
I've met quite a few PR people through work and meeting friend's friends.
They never appear genuine. I could never tell if they were still 'on' and
doing what they do at work.

You can't be successful at PR and also be a nice person who considers personal morals when crafting nice public personas for equally horrid capitalists and slave driving corporations. You have to be a cunt. None of the character revelations in the Clifford case surprise me in the slightest.

But everyone has the right to a defence, however monstrous. I would argue that (some) lawyers are in effect a necessary evil. I'd rather live in a society without PR workers.
