This is a normal post Heard this earlier
Failed to disagree with anything he said and thought he came across somewhat enlightened and wise, compared to other commentators.

I can only put it down to other commentators being mostly Russell Brand.

This is a normal post i forced myself to watch the rest of it
and the gist of what he says appears to be "you have to vote cos its what you have to do no matter how bad the choices are, if you dont then you cant change anything, but dont try to change anything cos you'll just get ignored, so keep doing what you are supposed to be doing and thats how you contribute to society"

Can someone please tell me how you can change the system by not voting? I don't get how that will fix anything.

This is a normal post There isn't anyone to vote for
except maybe local independent candidates. They call Russell Brand a bumhole for telling people not to vote, then have criticise anyone who doesn't vote labour.

This is a normal post Young people have almost always voted less.
blogs.lse.ac.uk/politicsandpolicy/files/2010/03/Nonvoters.jpg

As the entire vote dropped off so rapidly following Tony Blair getting in and letting people down, I suspect Russell Brand's view that no parties speak for them is closer than the "young people aren't interested in politics" theory.
