Can't you just order a full English

A scotch egg
is an egg, hard boiled, surrounded by sausage meat and breadcrumbs, and deep fried. Therefore a scotch breakfast is any breakfast which receives the same treatment.
Also applies to whiskey, mist, tape and obscure Italian disco bands from the 80's.

Scotch Eggs
Are actually derived from the term "scotched eggs". They are an English invention which has sod all to do with Scotland.
I'm fairly sure the same is true of Scottish people.

Is Turkish Delight racist?
Or Brazil nuts

In my experience,
both are accurate, if rather sweeping generalisations.

What about Welsh cakes? Or Highland toffee? Or Cheddar? Or LA Diner pizzas from Farmfoods £1.49 for two? Or Siamese cats? Chinese burns? Earthworms?
