The fact that it looks like a typical vimeo animation also puts me off
Why does everything look the same on there? And they act so smug about it, like it matters.
Every year I despise animation more and more. Being part of it only makes me lower my head in shame. I think the internet and use of Flash have really been hammering the nails into the coffin.
Does anyone actually make anything worthwhile any more, or does it all have to have a coolness factor.
Miserable cunt aren't I?

I liked this one because the phone-in is an amazing thing that nobody could write (similar to the interviews for creature comforts)
without that, the animation wouldn't really stand out
(animation does have a pretentious element that I struggle with; nice technique / look means little when it's telling a non-story)
