Terribly sorry
I'm new and thought the bit /Links meant 'put links here'. Didn't realise there were so many bloody rules and regs. I'll knock off till next week then - guess I've had my fair share eh?

Since when was there a rule about not posting in an existing thread?
Stop making up rules.

I think it does make more sense to post additional relevant links
in the original post. It stops people who enjoyed the first post having to look around to find them.
It's true that having to look is hardly a strain, but then neither is editing a post and the latter makes more sense.

In all honesty...
I've never had these rules explained to me so bollocking me and then putting a smiley face at the end doesn't really ashere me to this bit or give me any encouragement to post more links here. Maybe I got cross quite quickly but at least I put what I meant and didn't skirt around the matter of how I felt (unless you count sarcasm that is). I'm sure if I have a nice nap and a bag of flaming hot monster munch tomorrow I'll have calmed my hot-headedness a bit

Don't be grumpy you're doing fine!
Pilchy was only being silly. What he was trying to say was that if you have lots of similar links in one thread its best to edit your original post and stick them in there, rather thank keep putting new posts.
You've posted some great links. Don't be scared off! If you want to know anything gaz me (that means sending an instant message, i.e. go to my profle by clicking on my user name then click on send me a message)

But why would it be an issue to post new links in an existing thread?
Trying to make rules like this is the quickest way to stifle fun. There is no reason at all why it wouldn't be ok to post new links as replies.

Why not consolidate all your existing links into one easily managed post at only 1149.9% APR

No, it still doesn't matter.
There is no reason to have a rule like that, which is why there isn't one.

I can't say I liked watching a new person getting harshed out about a non existant rule.
It really isn't that difficult to see that they've tried to have fun on the links board, and they only posted one thread on the subject. Why would people get upset about posting the links as replies versus new links posted in the original message?
If I'd just joined up, possibly after lurking for a long time and got told off for that, I probably wouldn't bother coming back.

I had tickets but didn't go in the end, I just couldn't face it!
But see my signature- I'll be on TV in a couple of weeks! Channel 4 filmed a drama at my work and I was an extra, playing myself!
I'm off now, TTFN all
