This is a normal post it really was car crash
He reminded me of Courtney Love -jumping from topic to topic as his mind spun.
But in fairness Courtney never *whined* so much. He's the most powerful man in the world and all he can do is sit and bitch about how the nasty media boys was horrid to him. Special snowflake.

This is a normal post His continued obsession with television ratings,
his own and those of others, is just so weird. He seems to think his life is one continuous reality show. The vanity blows my mind. It's all about him and his media portrayal, like some gobshite who's kicked out of the Big Brother house for being seriously unpleasant and vile, but stubbornly refuses to accept any criticism. Policy and governance barely seems cross his mind, although to be fair to the nutjob, the narcissistic media seems primarily concerned with how rude he is to them. They need to start playing the ball and not the man. There really is no point in playing this particular man, he is clearly afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, he is literally insane.

This is a normal post They'll get his measure.
I note the mail is have a right laugh at him on it's front page right now. If he's lost the mail, it won;t be long before Fox goes. Murdoch knows a wingnut when he sees one.

This is a normal post He does, but he's a cynical individual.
He will be onside if being so is more beneficial than it is detrimental. I also would like to put it on the record that he is much less interfering in his news outlets editorial line than it is widely claimed. His primary concern is, and always has been, ratings and circulation because that's where the money is.
Although on a side note, allegedly he was not only the who one brokered the first international presidential interview with Gove in The Times (plus a German guy from the Bild group was also there), but he was also in the room when the interview took place.

This is a normal post I'm not predicting the future, I'm basing what I say on his past actions.
If he is so interfering in his media empire's editorial line, please explain why The Sun was staunchly pro Leave, yet The Times was staunchly pro Remain, and The Sunday Times was pro Remain, albeit in a rather lukewarm way, while Sky News was a bit schizophrenic on the matter. He was openly pro Leave.

This is a normal post Well, if you weren't so gnomic and obtuse all the time, I might not have got the wrong end of the stick.
I think he's a "let's wait and see and stick or twist as late as we can" kind of chap. He rarely backs the wrong horse in politics, but in politics there isn't a croupier calling "Les jeux sont faits", so he can take his time.

This is a normal post errm
I've worked for him. Everyone knows what he thinks. And if they want to keep working for him, they keep it 'front of mind'.
My most feared army boss used to use the word 'pragmatic' to mean incredibly cynical and ruthless. And when he meant really unpleasant he would say 'flexible and pragmatic' And turning up to 11 was 'dynamic, flexible and pragmatic'. That's our Rupe.
He's worried that Breitbart is stealing eyeballs from him. But they are dumb poor eyeballs. Which is why he keeps doing random dad-dancing moves like buying myspace and vice. But remember he is nothing of not free trade.

This is a normal post I've never met him, but I did serve Jerry Hall in a shop once.
If he thinks someone will make him money, I think they can pretty much think, say and write what they want. You may have worked for Sky or News International (as it was once known) but without any juicy anecdotes, I'm going to stubbornly stick to my guns.

This is a normal post met him once
when I was quite a young reporter. He was fun and funny. really into reporters and stories. I wish I had been more relaxed, thinking back. He was still on wife number one then.

This is a normal post In terms of juiciness, that anecdote scores a big fat zero.

This is a normal post Not the most lucrative way to spill your juicy beans, but good luck in that ambition.
Also, you met him in or prior to 1967?

This is a normal post I expected more foot stomping.
On the positive side, his whineblings are a great representation of the thought processes of a 4 year old being told not to jump up and down on the couch.
