This is a normal post But increasing private school costs will mean less parents can afford to send their children there which in turn will increase the pressure on state schools.
It's a similar argument with private health care, people who can pay for their own treatment shouldn't be discouraged from doing so as it frees up NHS resources.

Using Eton as an example is not particularly helpful as they're not really representative of private schools in general.

Yeah, I am sure they (you) can find the money. It is up to you isn't it, your child's education or that new 4x4? I am sure some will not be able to pay...but lets not pretend there will be a mass exodus. State schools can't get anymore fucked.
