I looked up what it means.
Freedom of expression means that a *government* is not allowed to interfere with your speech.
It doesn't mean that ideas (including good ideas and shitty ideas alike) aren't open to ridicule by others.
So as an example I could say:
"I personally think stuj is being a stuffy old cuntbag tonight".
Now, you should be free to agree or disagree with that statement, but my government must not be allowed to stop me from saying it.
Does that clear things up for you?
