It's a cliche,
but tell people to subscribe to itunes or follow you on Twitter at the bottom of each post. Give them share buttons. They seem marketing wank, but most people use them rather than write their own "look at this!" tweet.
I also wonder if it would make sense to be more podcasty about what you upload to iTunes - open with a chat about what you've discovered each year rather than giving just the music. Subscribing on iTunes would seem the easiest way to follow an audio project, but I assume people would want the contextualisation that you only currently get by reading the blog.
Anyway, good project - keep it up!

Ok, will try some of that, thanks for the tips.
My radio show (if it happens) will involve talking about the music too, maybe talking at the start is a good solution as the mixing is what I love about it.
