With that thing where people remove Garfield's think bubbles, and that time people suggested that Garfield was actually fantasizing the strips as he starved to death,
and stuff like xkcd.com/78/ and achewood.com/index.php?date=11302007 this is actually, like, part of a genre of surreal Garfield interpretations. It's just so unfunny and everywhere that people do these weird things to it, like Mickey Mouse in the 70s.
