This is a link post Paolo Di Canio hurt in BLM protest.
And by Paolo Di Canio, I mean the referee who gave Di Canio a red card, obviously.

This is a normal post As long as he lives
He can put a good claim in for that one and probably come out of this alright?

This is a normal post worst moonwalk attempt ever

This is a normal post This looks like a total set up to me.
The cameraman, who's job it is to film this shit, takes far too long to react to the guy's fall. Even a smartphone wielding noseybonk would have been able to track him better than that.
Once the camera finally does move to focus on the 'victim', blood immediately starts pouring from his ear and pooling around his head. I'm no expert, but if there's that much blood pooling around your cranium and leaking out your ear within that kind of timeframe, then you're a fucking goner, no?
I'm probably just being a massive fucking cynic, but it just looks off to me.

This is a normal post Yes. The direction is awful. It's almost as if armed riot police were advancing on the camera man or something.
Your non-expert analysis is, as always, appreciated.

This is a normal post Not sure what you're implying exactly, (its fake blood?), but he's in a critical condition

Probably faking it though...

This is a normal post It’s the total lack of compassion that’s the most shocking
The guy responsible sees him motionless on the floor and bleeding and just turns away and walks off.

No wonder the cops are despised.

This is a normal post The two responsible look to be ushered in by a third
Big thumbs up to the guy who just repeats what he sees.

This is a normal post you can see the moment when the cop closest to the camera
appears to realize his career is over.

This is a normal post It was as if he finally made the connection between violence and death
or maybe he realised he was white, once he was in a pool of his blood.

This is a normal post Lack of empathy is probably a qualification for riot police.

The national guard are the ones to stop and help.
(, Fri 5 Jun 2020, 17:57, Reply)
This is a normal post The National Guard are actual trained soldiers who know the difference between citizens and combatants.
Cops just think they're soldiers, fighting a war against the rest of the community.

This is a normal post So apparently they have all resigned from the unit
But it was an Independent article, so it's hard to tell why. It seems to be because they suspended the two responsible. And it also seems that resigning the unit doesn't mean resigning your job.
So it appears they don't want to be at risk of being suspended for beating people up.
Terrible as that mindset is, they should all maybe consider that before beating peaceful protestors.

This is a normal post The grauniad says they resigned in protest of two colleagues being suspended
But as you say they’ve not resigned from the police just the unit they were in.
