This book is a seriously bleak read. According to the auther:
The raids put the V weapons back by a couple of months max (hard to estimate)
The majority of the casualties were Polish prisoners.
The scientists weren't wiped out at all, if I remember correctly, most weren't even there.
Some accounts say the delay was maybe 2 weeks.
Not arguing, what the fuck do I know, just an alternative viewpoint if folks find it interesting. It's a fucking bleak and depressing read, be warned

according to the wikipedia article on Jeannie Rousseau, which seems to have been edited last by someone with an axe to grind leaving the main bio seem pretty conflicting
her role in exposing the V2 rockets was overstated, and that her report came after the peenmunde raid rather than instigating it, and was something the war office already had several reports about. either way being an enemy spy in France with the fucking gestapo
torturing people to death for that sort of thing is hero enough in my books

Peenemunde was just one of many test sites the Nazis used.
The scientists that developed these dreadful, indiscriminate weapons of mass destruction were indeed not killed during raids, or even convicted as war criminals after the war. They were shipped out to the US where they became true American heroes setting up the appollo space programme.

Most articles refer to her helping delay by "up to" six months. and yes ...the wikipedia article defo stinks of someone with an axe to grind. You dont get all those medals and awards if theres no meat on the fact bone!

In every little vid i make, i find differing views.
I make choice and go with it. Hopefully people will take it upon themselves to learn more. If people have differing views which make me do more research and learn more, well that's even better. :)
