I have no space left for any more Ukraine flag emojis in my Twitter blurb

Not all Ukrainian's are Nazis. They just come from a country where that kind of thing isn't actively discouraged.

Here's the link you were referring to for context: www.state.gov/reports/2018-country-reports-on-human-rights-practices/ukraine/
I'm not sure that simply electing a Jewish president really suggests that the country doesn't have a problem with far-right nationalists. I think it's pretty obvious that it's still a big issue in Ukraine. I understand that the general consensus currently is not to bad mouth Ukraine in any way whatsoever whilst the invasion is ongoing, however. I guess we're mostly saving all that for once the invasion dies down a bit. Just like Afghanistan.

apart from one or two reports about slack prosecutors, the systematic stuff about abuse and killing it refers to are about "Russia-led forces in the so-called “people’s republics” of Donetsk and Luhansk systematically committed numerous abuses, including torture", pretty much the entire section C. Not really one you can pin on Ukrainians.
The country's no sweden, but certainly no worse or less democratic than EU member states like Poland or Hungary. The whole "Nazi" thing is Russian bullshit which only the most credulous of Russian sympathisers might entertain. this seems to include you

As in, Far-right Nationalism. Something that both Poland and Hungary also have significant problems with, as does Russia.
Not having particular sympathy for Ukraine (Ukraine, not Ukrainians), doesn't automatically make somebody a Russian sympathiser.
Let's get real about this. Can you imagine the UK allowing National Action not only to exist as an organisation, but also to allow them to act as a government sanctioned Militia? How about America arming the Proud Boys and putting them in charge of the National Guard?
I'm not suggesting that Putin's invasion of Ukraine is in any way justified. But we're getting far too fucking involved in this, both in a Diplomatic and social sense, than we need to be. I care about what's happening to the civilians caught up in this shit show, but no more or less than if it was Russian, Sudanese, Iranian, Icelandic, Nigerian or Canadian citizens. But do I care about Ukraine as a country/state/republic/whatever the fuck it ends up being? Not really. Certainly not any more or any less than I did three weeks ago.

for someone who isn't a russian sympathiser, you certainly parrot a lot of their talking points

You, a tragic racist sociopath, coming out against a country currently getting goose-stepped all over that you couldn't point to on a map until about 2 weeks ago. You've got to hand it to the Russian propaganda machine I suppose.

It does not work like that mate,
Ukraine could have been wearing a tight black number,
shaven his/her beard off and worn black suspenders that you weirdos like... Hell even gone for the sexy butch nurse outfit...
Still Russia can't let it's big army thrust in without prior consent.
And if Ukraine says no, I'm not interested in how you want to fill my Fulda gap,
What I really want to do is that wimpy Nato nerd over there, Russia has to fuck off back to the back of the nightclub and get a move on some random central asian.

but didn't the UK opt out of that particular bit of EU law in 1992?
