This is a normal post Quite liked Avatar
- it's a good adventure romp, well made and all that. It's no masterpiece, but it's fun.
I'd say the same thing about The Matrix.
Their sequels just seem pointless.

There's only a few times it works (Alien - Aliens, Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back) and even then, the returns diminished when they overstretched.

Ignore the 3d, and you're left with a long, preachy, and frankly boringly predictable film.

For furries.

I only saw it in 2d. It was OK. Well below hype, but a passable action movie.

This is a normal post I like bits of it too, don't think its close to being as bad as some people think it is
sequel does seem pointless though, this one looks like it will be a repeat of the first one's story / themes, but more wet

This is a normal post It was one of the very few films
I turned off less than half way through.

I still don't know how it ends. I assume 'generic military leader guy' decides to kill the 'alien native Indians' because he is 'evil' and 'white saviour' saves them and decides to stay with 'alien Pocahontas' forever.

Yes. That's exactly what happens. Also he gets a shiny new cat body to replace his broken human one because he's JUST SO NICE.
