This is a normal post ...aaaaaand they've postponed the UKCA mark deadline - again.
That's been pushed back 4 extra years since the original deadline.
The regulatory compliance "community" on Linked In is blowing up right now. Lots of grumpy product managers.

This is a normal post why don't they just say CE means "Checked in England" in their ads?
Brexiters would buy it, they've fallen for everything else

This is a normal post Annoyingly, it was the UK who pushed for CE marking in the first place
Remember Esther Ransen pulling the spiked heads off teddy bears? The nasty shite that used to come in from Southern Europe under the old EEC rules was horrifying. CE marking laws started with toy safety - you can always get politicians to vote for protecting the kiddies.

This is a normal post It's a bonus that it led to electrical devices that won't burn your house down
In theory, I mean pound shops still have dodgy shit straight out of some shed in China with a CE mark slapped on that will still fail testing

But I suppose if you spend 900 quid on the latest iPhone you won't have much left over for a reliable charger for it

This is a normal post What's wrong with it having a "China Export" mark on it if it has come from China...?
