You're conflating 2 things that IMO should be separated
to have a sensible conversation on this topic.
Male/Female is the biological sex of someone, and you can't change that. Males are the sex that produces sperm and females are the sex that carries babies to term.
Man/Woman is the socially constructed gender that is applied to people and which can be distinct from your sex. Women wear dresses etc
As such, you can have male men, female women, male women, and female men. If we then combine those categories with a sexual preference defined as 'the genital type you are attracted to' (this can include 'both' and 'none') then we cover all the bases and can also stop the ludicrous thing that's been happening lately where, for example, lesbians are being told they are transphobic because they don't want to suck cock.
The person in the article is a male woman, now there should be no cognitive dissonance or suggestion that people are being dishonest because of the conflation of male/female and man/woman.
Feel free to completely ignore all that though because it would mean you'd have to stop being an angry straight bloke who seems upset that not all other blokes are straight, and as a consequence of that straightness, angry.
