is responsible for 4% of global CO2 emissions. That's a lot.
Anyone sincere about reducing global CO2 emissions would not use it. They especially would not use it for frivolous purposes like, for example, a newsletter with a couple of message boards attached which is barely a forum. Anyone who complains on a newsletter with a couple of message boards attached which is barely a forum about global CO2 emissions is, at least partly, a hypocrite.
Not calling out anyone specific, examine your own opinions and actions and judge yourself accordingly.

Are you referring to this? www.bbc.com/future/article/20200305-why-your-internet-habits-are-not-as-clean-as-you-think

do you think using the internet uses no energy? The exact percentage is meaningless, the source of the exact percentage is equally meaningless. using the internet to moan about CO2 burden is hypocritical because it adds.to excess CO2 in the atmosphere. The smaller the audience, the worse the hypocrisy.

but your conversational tone is so confrontational that I feel no urge to provide you with anything you could look up yourself. I note you found something from the BBC to back up my claims. Personally, I refuse to engage in conversation that devolves into trollish behaviour like endless citation requests.
The simple fact that you're calling this an argument tells me everything I need to know. I would be genuinely surprised to discover that you had any friends in the real world.
