In the US they use their other 120v AC line that is 180 degrees out of phase to achieve 240v differential (2 phase).
In the UK we have single phase 240v AC typical domestic and three phase 400v AC typical commercial.

But usually involves distros like this that provide 6x 16A feeds per socapex connector that are then split out to the relevant connectors, e.g. truecon, with each feed powering a row or column of video panels.
