It'll reinforce your views if you're of the opinion that it's not a binary thing, sure, but his arguments are weak and easily demolished.
The argument about sex being analogue at 7:40 presents scientific sex as a continuum by highlighting some genetic conditions where extra chromosomes are present. It gives no information whatsoever about the prevalence of these conditions, nor whether those affected actually survived. Are they statistically significant or not? If not, then the binary position arguably still holds.

but binary is binary no? if something does not fit in to "1" or "0" then you can not describe that data set as binary. Regardless of whether you think the outliers "don't count" because they may or may not be in significant numbers.

To reduce it to an absurd level: If there's one outlier in seven billion, and they don't make it to their first birthday, then does it make sense to include them in a conversation about toilet signage?

Surely not sex, which potholer says is binary.
The digital/analogue thing is just a way to say sex is binary, but not everybody fits into the 2 categories because biology is messy. Intersex people are intersex, but due to the way biological reproduction works, it would be incorrect to say there are more than 2 sexes. You only need 2 sexes to reproduce.
Gender, on the other hand, is entirely arbitrary and science has nothing to say about it. That's the point.
