Robocop, the edited for T.V Version
After realising that Sky are showing the uncut X-rated version rather than the R-rated version (Murphy's death is extended amongst other things), I went hunting for the one they used to play on T.V, with all the swearing cut out.
Fast forward to 20 minutes in for the infamous "You're going to be a bad mother crusher".
Still looking for the version of Repoman they showed on BBC2.....

I watched a very heavily edited version of Adaptation in America a few years back
In a scene where a character says 'I'd fuck her in the ass' about several women, it was edited to say 'I'd fly her flag at half mast' - that's not even close!!

I dunno whether it was The Fast Show, or some other thing Paul Whitehouse did, but a spoof of film censorship? or BBC style over dubbing censorship? Very funny...

He reckons that the film is actually *more* violent when it's cut, because of the almost slapstick nature of the blood lessens the impact.
