I went round a sugar refinery in Gujarat, India
After the fascinating process of turning raw cane into nice clean white sugar, it was carried down a long conveyor to the bagging station. A large flock of well fed pigeons was perched above merrily shitting on each and every grain. No strange beauty there. Just a strong urge to not have sugar in my next cup of cha.
