If that's the case, why didn't the Bush/Cheney/Runsfeld administration pick him up? It would have justified their war in Afghanistan, sealed Bush's place in history and guaranteed the neo-cons a third term.

I thought the election cycle in the US lasted 4-5 years. The article suggests they've known where he was for the last 6 years. Where's the problem?
