You see, I think these are a great idea
But why is it right in the middle of a fucking crossing where people are walking? At least put it off to the side a bit ffs

Most of them are
but this is a busy little intersection between squares. There's actually a permanent one just to the right you can't see. The crossing can be avoided easily whereas it would obstruct the pavements all round the outside much more.
