then briefly stopped off in The Retreat before ending up downstairs in 'mingos until oh-my-god o'clock.

'mingos was weird. £8 to get in the main bit, or "walk past the bar and down the stairs then pay that bloke a fiver" to get into the bear night downstairs (which was much more fun anyway)
