This is a normal post And it all took less than a minute.
...probably less time than you took to type this verbose response.

This is a normal post A simple "no" would've sufficed.
And then I'd've said, "Hah, I can't really speak! I've spent all day playing Dwarf Fortress."

The best laid plans of mice and men...

This is a normal post Innit. I think I *may* have to do something about my /links addiction.
I've got shitloads of work to do AND brought in a standalone custom step-sequencer, to finish off a track I'm working on....
....and I'm still pissing about on here.

This is a normal post Really, download Dwarf Fortress
Declare it to be your procrastination of preference.
The game is so... horrid that there's a wiki for it (magma wiki it's called) - not a walkthrough guide or anything, nono, a wiki.

You'll get so pissed off when you fuck up your building plans or goblins steal all your children that you'll be glad to get back to work.

I spent the ingame equivilant of a month just watching my dwarfs go from wood and rock to iron to see how the system works and where the kinks in the chain are. I've not even tried steel yet, I'm dreading reassigning all my stockpiles again.

Someone on here recommended Gemcraft. And that ate up entire days.
