When I was a kid, Bill Hicks helped me look at the world and its politics in a way that contradicted the views imposed on me by the media and the establishment. For that I am thankful. However, I now work in advertising, so he can't have had that much of a profound effect on me.

This is a normal post I hear you but...
...the "yesterday some hooligans knocked over a dustbin in Shaftesbury" always makes me laugh. I get the feeling he was aware of his poor accent skills and hammed them up intentionally.

I still think his comedy hasn't aged that well, but at the time he was very refreshing.
