This is a normal post As a professional photoshop user since photoshop 1.0 on a mac classic...
Cunts!
Fucking sweat shopping cunts.
Not content with ruining the textiles industry now they're going after mine.

I was half thinking about going freelance offering basic photoshopping.

They're half arse jobs on their site but management wouldn't care about that.

This is a normal post Pretty much what I thought:
Got to be sweat shop and pretty poor examples to use to sell their wares.

If they'd really seen my website they'd have noticed that pretty much every picture on it has been photoshopped and some of them have been done better than theirs.

And it's not as if I'm even all that good at it - I put in as little effort as I can get away with to avoid seamhorses when posting on /board.

This is a normal post My old development job got outsourced to India
along with our entire telephone support department. It has happened to pretty much every other I.T. field over the last 10 years so while I do sympathise, welcome to the real world. Oh and yes the people likely running these companies are indeed cunts but the people working for them live in a different economic reality.

This is a normal post I'm just glad i've trained up on illustrator too and have a sideline in 3D
I'ld like to see them offer a full solidworks assembly for under a dollar.

I think the main people going to be screwed over with this are going to be people editing product photos for catalogues and web sales.

This is a normal post I think this might be an "Industry" thing
as I'm really confused by why this is in any way interesting or unusual.

As I understand it, you have a website, someone has sent you some spam offering to improve the photographs on it. However you do not need this service.

Imagine I worked in a garage and someone emailed me offering to do all my tyre fitting for me, but I am in fact able to do this myself. I do not think you would care.

Perhaps I have misunderstood, if so I apologise.

This is a normal post i think the point is that if they sent the same email to all your customers
you might go out of business

This is a normal post Seems fair enough to me
If soemone will do the job cheaper than you, they'll get the business. Not silly at all unless you think capitalism is silly, in which case.......COMMUNIST!!!!!!

This is a normal post I was doing photo retouching for a while
One of the other guys would send his pictures off to people like this, get all the basics done for around $2.00 (cleaning up the background, blemish removal etc) and would then finish off the work before handing them in and charging $25 per picture.

In all honesty though he was one of the slower workers.

This is a normal post thats actually not that cheap for rotoscoping...
but most rotoscopers charge by the day not by the frame.

This is a normal post You should send them some of the images from their own website and see if they notice.
