I've just worked out that I haven't seen a new Bond film since GoldenEye
this isn't that I've consciously avoided them, just lost interest I guess.
Although I did watch 30 mins of The Man with the Golden Gun on TV a few days ago - it was a mildy racist in the way old TV can be. The Sheriff character described the locals as "pointy headed" and they all seemed to be able to do karate which although I'm sure there's Thai people who can do karate it came across as confusing Thailand with Japan.

I watched the new Casino Royale last Christmas on my dad's new fancy telly,
I preferred the old Casino Royale if I'm honest.

i have a hard time remembering anything that happened in any bond movies after live and let die
no amount of gun fights and explosions can compete with a man inflating like a balloon with a raspberry noise.

as a child I was fascinated with the Lotus Esprit submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me
it was def the kind of car I wanted to have when I grew up. Not sure what I'd do with it now - drive it into Camden canal I guess.
