This is a normal post Remember this scene scared the shite out of me as a little 'un in the cinema.
Ah, nostalgic trauma.

This is a normal post I've never seen any of these at he cinema...
the first one I was WAAYYYY too young... and the second - I remember having this on VHS before it was out in the cinema...

In my 8 year old mind, I couldn't understand what all the fuss was about ('Yeah... and... it's been out for AAAGES! what do you mean "It's just come out"???')

This is a normal post Arrrrrrrr
Your parent or guardian was a video pirate.

I remember seeing this in the cinema for my brother's birthday. Even at a young age I could tell it wasn't a patch on the first film.

This is a normal post I saw the first one at the cinema for my birthday treat. I was allowed to take 2 'sensible' friends (I distinctly remember my mum saying that for some reason).

This is a normal post I remember I had a pirate copy of Home Alone....
The bloke recording it started off in the wrong screen and when it started it was Three Men and a Little Lady. He managed to also record his trip back out into the corridor and into the correct screen.

I watched Home Alone so many times with that beginning that it started to feel like part of the film.

This is a normal post I love/hate that
like when you accidentally press record instead of just play on old tapes, which inevitably leaves an audible click of some sort...

when you finally get that song on mp3/cd you miss the click :(
