I don't know what biz you do but I'm pissed off with the tradespeople you see on telly bemoaning that the Olympics is hurting trade etc ... restauranteurs saying they're empty ... 7 years in the planning for 2 bloody weeks.
Surely, some proactive owners have gone out to the influx of visitors to say 'here I am' rather than sit around waiting for them to turn up at their doors.

We run a shoe repair shop based in busy London Bridge and typically the shop "in a busy period" would take between 600 to a grand a day, our rent for the unit tops 1400 quid a week, however since the lympix kicked off the most we've managed to average a day, is just over the 200 quid mark so, its quite a serious thing, we could lose our livelihoods, its only because we have an understanding landlord whose reduce our rent that we've been able to servive etc, how do you forward plan for these things tho, I'm not sure?
