This is a normal post apparently a meteor the size of a house would have the effect of a nuclear bomb
they hit the earth every 100 years I think, so we should be in for a treat soon

This is a normal post yeah they reckon the tunguska explosion was a meteorite that exploded in the air
that one was around 100 meters and 10-15 megatons according to wikipedia

It is possible that a smaller one could have hit since then and was just too far away from anywhere to be noticed though

This is a normal post they aren't even looking for stuff that size, so you'd only detect it from the massive explosion melting your face off

This is a normal post The cosmos fascinates me, if a neighbouring star goes supernova the chances are the shockwave of lethal radiation is going to wipe us all out
