I am actually surprised. I fucking hate how things work where I am at the moment. I guess that is the reason.
Also, I am interested in how the hell people get things done, because I am shite at doing things.

It wasn't anything as complicated, honestly :-)
Just had in place the idea of the boy wanting to buy a DVD cheaper online than from the shops, and Barley the Cat saying how wrong that would be as the savings made would affect the purchaser in other ways. However, switching their roles (before anything was scripted/animated) and having the cat not give a shit gave the gag an extra level as whatever the cat thought/said could be filtered through the child narrator in, hopefully, a more comic fashion.
Or something.
