Seriously amazing stuff - makes you appreciate the pre-digital age of animation and the love and work that went into these things. Wonderful.

Having seen Tom & Jerry so many times over the years, it's very strange indeed to see the audio being performed... at times it was as if the sound had been taken from its 'natural' origin in the cartoon, and overlaid onto a concert of classical music (am not sure that makes sense anywhere else but in my head! :) ).
Very enlightening, really does bring home the amount of organisation and effort it took to produce. Looks like it was fun too - the percussionists/foley artists at 2:18ish seem to be having a whale of a time with that bin (and later on with snoring, guns, banging on bits of pipe, and barking)! :D
