This is a link post Down with this sort of thing!
Sorry to link an e-petition here but it's close to my heart and they need as much support as possible. It's an E-Petition to save the A&E and maternity departement at my local hospital that the local health authority are considering closing. The nearest A&E dept if they succeed with their plans will be nearly an hour's ambulance ride away in Worcester and lives will be lost.

They've saved my life three times.

So if you've got a few minutes could you sign the petition? Cheers.

They tried closing the A&E at my local hospital also, where my parents used to work, assuming that we could happily travel the extra 20 miles to the second nearest.

Thankfully public protest stopped it!
